A common challenge facing office workers trying to improve their health is how to keep their legs active when they are required to remain at a desk for a majority of the day. InMovement's Integrate Desk Pedals are easily recognizable as a small accessible version of an elliptical machine. However the Desk Pedals are NOT for exercise; the smaller stride and absence of arm motion allow your time on the desk pedals to remain sweat free, simply acting as a tool to keep the legs moving.

I recently sat down with a frequent Desk Pedal user; this is what she had to say about her experience with them:

Q. How often do you use your Desk Pedals?

A. I typically use the Desk Pedals in 10-15 minute increments, or until I begin to feel warm. I do this about 4 to 6 times each day. I typically use the Pedals while I’m standing, and the best part is that I can do so comfortably even when I’m wearing heels.

Q. When is your favorite time of day to use the Desk Pedals?

A. I often find myself using them in the morning around 10 am and in the afternoons around 3 or 4 pm. They are great for rejuvenating me when I feel like I am starting to get tired or hit a wall.

Q. Are there any specific tasks that you like using the Desk Pedals for?

A. My favorite time to use the desk pedals is when I need to get through unfavorable or tedious work, I feel like they help keep me focused and engaged.

Q. What was your experience like when you first began using the Desk Pedals?

A:  At first, I started slowly and began to build my use over time, which I would recommend to others. One thing I noticed immediately was that they helped with my focus and kept me from getting distracted.
